The Hotel Alma, directly managed by the owners, lies directly over the sea, at just 50 meters from the splendid Fetovaia beach. A comfortable and short stair leads down to the beach.
The 15 rooms dispose all of air conditioning, color-TV and direct dial telephone, most have a view over the sea.
The Hotel also has a bar, restaurant, TV-room, private parking, solarium and heating for the cooler months of the low season.
We offer half of full board treatment, and bed and breakfast only during the low season. The cooking is typically local.
The Hotel Alma is situated just before the street that leads down to the beach of Fetovaia.
Once in Portoferraio, just follow the directions for «Procchio». In the little village take left in direction of Marina di Campo and then follow always the indications «Cavoli - Seccheto - Fetovaia».
Fetovaia is 27 km away from Portoferraio and 9 km from Marina di Campo.
You can also reach Fetovaia coming from the West, leaving Procchio for Marciana Marina, Marciana, Patresi, Chiessi and Pomonte.
The road is longer, goes up an down and with a lot of curves, but the panorama of the coast line is spectacular.
Fetovaia, in the heart of the Costa del Sole and part of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, is the ideal place for holidays even during low season, with its spectacular beach, the other islands in the background, the protected situation and the cristal clear waters.
The beach, for a large part public, is well equipped in security measures, assistence and services.
Fetovaia has two beach baths, bars, restaurants, newspaper and tobacco stand. The creek is closed (at 300 meters from the beach) to all boats, therefore the whole length is accessible for bathing and swimming.
Those who prefer the cliffs to the beach can find wonderful white rocks and small isolated creeks, that are in walking distance, or can be reached by boat. On the left side of Fetovaia, after a small pine wood, one can reach the 'Piscine' (the pools), a series of natural pools with sea water. This place is ideal for a sun bath or a jump into the deep blue waters.
On the right side of Fetovaia, once crossed the headland with its pine woods, you will find a rocky coast with small beaches like 'Le Tombe' or 'Il Giardino', that can be reached by a small walk through the macchia vegetation and that are therefore less crowded even during the high season.
