| Our estate agent’s office is
situated in the marina of Cala Galera. You can reach us entering the Marina at
the first entrance, then going along the commercial quay up to the wharfs C and
D. Our activity consists in the assistance to all the people who want to spend
in full relax long stays in the nature of Argentario. We offer our customers
wonderful estates and comfortable buildings, beautiful yachts and comfortable
boats, as well as boat and car places inside the Marina of Cala Galera, one of
the most beautiful marinas in Europe. We have been on the market since 1970 and
have been working as agents with enthusiasm and professionalism, in order to
satisfy our customers’ demands. Our agency’s activity concentrates mainly on the
region of Argentario, a small peninsula in the south Tuscany, joined to the dry
land by two sandy tongues of land: Feniglia in the south and Giannella in the
north. These tongues of land face the Tyrrhenian sea with two long beaches of
gold sand and form a calm and fertile lagoon, in the centre of which the town
Orbetello is situated like a small Venice. Such a wonderful place is not easy to
be discovered, but once you have discovered it, it will be impossible for you to
leave it. It has a very ancient and fascinating history, as you can see from
many fortresses, built by Spanish in 1600. The first inhabitants were sailors
from Naples and from Liguria, whose main activities consisted in the navigation
and the terracing of the mount. They could make the earth fertile and produce
the garden fruits and the grape “ansonica” with the terracing.

| The region of Mount Argentario,
formed by Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, can be easily reached both from
north (from Grosseto drive on the street SS.1 Aurelia for about 40 kms to the
exit Giannella) and from south (from Civitavecchia drive on the street SS.1
Aurelia for about 70 kms to the exit Orbetello). By train you have to get off at
Orbetello station, a crossing point of the line that connects Rome to Genoa and
Turin. The nearest airport is Rome Fiumicino (around 150 kms). Mount Argentario
is the obligatory starting point to visit Giglio island (by comfortable ferries
leaving from Porto Santo Stefano) and Giannutri Island. From the promontory top
(about 630 meters) it is possible to enjoy a breathtaking view and to see even
Sardinia and Elba island in the clearest days. The clear sea, the mild and warm
climate, the wonderful beaches and cliffs allow you to swim from May to October.
This area, which bounds with Uccellina mounts in the north (Nature Park of the
Maremma) and with Fosso del Chiarone in the south (to the border with Lazio), is
called silver Coast. It has a fifty km coast, formed by long sandy beaches,
broken by the high cliff of Talamone and the promontory of Argentario. The
latter was once an island that the river and the sea deposits joined to the
mainland. Orbetello is situated on a strip of earth, extended artificially in
1842 at Leopold II will. In ancient times Argentario was called Cosano
Promontory, because it was near to Cosa town. Only in the V century A.C. it was
called with its present name. The etymology is uncertain. Perhaps it derives
from the brightness of the rocks or from the activity of argentarii (the bankers
of the Roman age) that the family Domizia practiced in the region. The agency’s
activity is based on the sale and lease mediation of properties, boats and boat
places. In all the activities our main goal is the customers’ satisfaction. For
all the operations, brought to a successful conclusion, we will require a normal
commission for mediation. Hereafter our activity fields: |
